Prostoria in Cologne and Paris, 2016

Prostoria started the 2016 with exhibiting at some of the most prestigious furniture fairs, such as (IMM Cologne, Maison&Object, Paris). This year as well we continue with the distinctive stand concept that symbolizes and captures our slogan every room has a story.

In its further development, in collaboration with the designer Simon Morasi Piperčić, Prostoria created a new modular system, the sofa Convert, which has maximum flexibility with its basic four elements. It provides selection between two seat depths, wooden platforms in two widths and a support which can be used as armrests or backrest and at the same time is height-adjustable. The elements can be arranged in various combinations and changed at any time.

Prostoria also presented the extended family Strain collection with a bar stool available in three different heights. It drew visitors’ attention with its design (Simon Morasi Piperčić) based on the contrast between the construction of metal tube legs and a solid wood seat in shape of a saddle. Apart from that, we added one more product to the presented Oblique collection (Numen / For Use) – a chair with metal legs and wooden armrests.

In the atmosphere of wooden houses whose contours are marked with rhythmically arranged wooden beams our products once again demonstrated both their value and quality. Great impression among the visitors shows that with each new product prostoria confirms its position on the design furniture scene.
