Prostoria kicks off in the US

With a problem-solver’s mindset led by a maker’s heart, we grew into a distinguished design brand with 100% of its furniture collection created in-house. Our open-mindedness to a variety of challenges has resulted in design innovation, strong R&D and a prolific collection of bold and classic designs that equally embrace comfort. The flagship store in Chicago will feature a striking display of these, showing they can coexist harmoniously while enhancing their differences.

Prostoria’s owner Tom Knezovic, the forward-thinker behind the brand, passed on his drive for challenges, curiosity and passion for high standards to the people of Prostoria: “Our exploration of comfort is an expression of caring about people’s wellbeing. It was design that launched us on this journey, which has become a makers’ odyssey with the aim of creating furniture you want to spend your life with. Our team is thrilled to present our furniture design and craftsmanship to the North American community of architects and designers.”

Our factory in Croatia is functioning both as a research lab where design prototypes are developed and a facility where furniture pieces are produced and then shipped to all corners of the world. From design and nuances of craftsmanship to state-of-the-art technology, a common thread connects this dynamic system.
