Inspired by the ambience of the gallery space inside of the Macura Museum in close proximity to Belgrade, this fall we shot an editorial with several products - Absent, Layout, Combine and Impression sofas, Piun, Strain and Oblikant chairs, Strain low chairs, Polygon, Trifidae and Toggle armchairs and the Avet coffee table. The pictures show how Prostoria’s contemporary furniture design corresponds to the atmosphere and artworks in the Macura Museum. This cooperation is a result of the opening of our new salon - Prostoria Flagship Belgrade - in October 2020.
The interior of the Macura Museum is a reflection of Vladimir Macura’s private collection, works of art and publications related to avant-garde art, Yugo-Dada, constructivism, Croatian art movement EXAT, Gorgona, Group of Six Authors and the Belgrade Surrealism and consequent art movements.
The collection points to the texts published in the Zenith journal, publications and philosophical principles of the zenitism movement that promote social responsibility and the realization of the cultural environment as a driver of exchange and a hotbed of advanced social and artistic ideas.
