The sofa Revolve from Kvadra's collection has won its first international award. At the recently held 49th International Furniture Fair in Belgrade the jury awarded Revolve with the main prize Zlatni ključ, in the category seating furniture, to Kvadra for its sofa Revolve designed by Numen / For Use + Bratović & Borovnjak. Numerous visitors of the Belgrade Furniture Fair shared the opinion of the jury as Kvadra achieved impressive retail and wholesale results, initiating the sale of Kvadra upholstered furniture in Serbia.
The Belgrade Fair is the biggest regional Furniture Fair that continues to expand in spite of the financial crisis. 500 exhibitors were present at this year's fair.
The Jury has noticed the high-quality collection and appearance by Kvadra and awarded the sofa Revolve whose form of minimalist lines follows its function - and with just a smooth rotation of 180 degrees transforms sitting into sleeping
Kvadra was unanimously awarded by the jury, top-level Serbian architects lead by dr. Branislav Mitrović, professor at the Faculty of Architecture, mr. arch. Vladimir Lovrić, head of the architecture section of ULUPUDS, professor Zoran Bulajić from the Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade and Damir Miladin from the marketing agency I.C.P.S.
Vladimir Lovrić elaborated the decision of the jury: „Kvadra had a very impressive appearance, and we awarded it with the highest prize Zlatni ključ in the category of seating furniture for the three seater Revolve. The jury unanimously decided that the three seater Revolve distinguishes itself with its design, flexible and multifunctional character, and high-quality production, and deserves the most prominent award, Zlatni ključ.“
Kvadra will have its next international appearance at the renowned German Furnishing show in Cologne, IMM Cologne 2012, the central meeting place for the world's leading decision makers in the furniture industry.
