The interior of the "Osmoliš Hotel" is fully equipped with Prostoria’s furniture collection – it features the Polygon, Oblique and Trifidae armchairs in addition to the Dobra, Bik, Strain and Oblikant chairs, the Monk barstools and the Osmo outdoor collection. Through this very project, the new modular Klaster sofa and the Jugo outdoor collection have been developed, which demonstrates the multiplicity of their use.

The interior of the "Osmoliš Hotel" was designed by the "Numen / For Use" collective, and it conceptually followed up on the modernist concrete shell designed by the architect Damir Vitković, retaining raw concrete as the key finish throughout the interior of the building.

In contrast to the weight and certain brutality of the architecture itself, all of the furniture that was used is characterised by a relative neutrality or delicacy of form, pleasant haptics and a discreet chromatic playfulness. On all of the surfaces in the interior where direct contact between architecture and the body was expected, wooden cladding, specifically larch, was used as the final layer. The composition of the wooden panels follows the architectural guidelines and actively traces the transition zones between the grandeur of exposed concrete and glass walls into a more humane arrangement of furniture, fabrics and lighting. The apartments and rooms are furnished in a simple and understated way, with an emphasis on textures, serene design and natural materials. A purposefully subtle, cosy atmosphere and dark spectrum tones successfully mute the sunlight and draw focus to panoramic views of the sea and the horizon.

Our new outdoor collection, Jugo, which prevails in outdoor areas of the "Osmoliš Hotel" builds on the hotel’s architecture and interior with its design, inspiring a feeling of Mediterranean relaxation and need for hedonism. The collection’s design puts in opposition the rational, almost ascetic form of the plastic design made of a stainless-steel structure and the lush décor pillows and armrests made of solid wood, accentuated in size. The name of the collection was inspired by the southeastern sirocco wind (in Croatian: jugo) – a wind characteristic of the Adriatic Sea, also called "vjetar od fjake" (a wind during which a special kind of emotional and physical state persists when a person feels like doing nothing and just enjoying the sweetness of the moment).

The hotel's public spaces, located on the "floating", glazed ground floor level, are characterised by open plans and visual interweaving with the lush vegetation of the surrounding slopes. Depending on the function of the specific areas, the floors of the hotel were paved with different forms of terrazzo aggregate or covered in soft, high pile carpeting.

The "Osmoliš Hotel" project was realised in creative collaboration between the "Numen / For Use" collective and architects Vanja Magić and Ivana Jonke.
