VR58 chair extends the structural logic of Richter’s original easy chair into a more compact and upright typology. Defined by slender tubular supports and sculpted wooden surfaces, the chair balances precision with warmth and comfort. The characteristic X-shaped construction remains central to the composition, reinforcing the geometric clarity of the design while preserving its visual lightness and architectural character.
Vjenceslav Richter worked across architecture, art and design — treating them as one continuous field. As part of EXAT 51 and New Tendencies, he helped shape a culture of experimentation that connected Zagreb to an international network of ideas.
Richter+ is a collaborative platform that brought together the design studios Numen/For Use, Neisako and Grupa to develop the Richter Collection in partnership with Prostoria's in-house R&D team.
