Apartment in Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik, Croatia
Project Residential
Building architecture: Lotus Architects / LAD 1 Studio

Views of Dubrovnik’s city walls, old town rooftops and the Adriatic give a distinctive character to the spaces the owners have furnished with Prostoria. Alongside expansive glazing, pale upholstery and warm wood tones find a striking counterpoint in black metal frames.

The Match sofa commands the living area. One of Prostoria’s early designs, its distinctive relationship between a low seat and elevated armrests retains its clarity in a generous modular arrangement. Solid volumes in pale fabric are balanced by the slender, geometric frames of black Polygon low tables. Beside the windows, Tinker easy chairs stand out, their wooden backrests and upholstered seats appearing almost suspended above fine steel bases.

The Monk collection connects the dining area within the living space with the kitchen. Grey upholstered chairs around a table with wooden legs, together with bar stools beside the stone island, carry a shared design language across different functions.

On the terrace, Polygon, an icon of Prostoria design, appears in its outdoor version, accompanied by a low table from the same collection. The chairs’ distinctive geometry is expressed through pale metal frames and wooden armrests.
