Prostoria brings Revisiting Richter to Zagreb as part of Days of Oris, with the exhibition open from 9 to 16 May at Oris House of Architecture and a lecture by Maroje Mrduljaš on 9 May at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, presenting the project within the context that shaped its origins.

Activating Cultural Heritage

Following its international debut, the Zagreb presentation brings the project closer to its cultural and intellectual roots. It reflects Prostoria’s commitment to activating cultural heritage, approaching it not as a static reference, but as a living source of knowledge that can be reinterpreted, tested, and brought into contemporary use.

The programme begins with the exhibition Revisiting Richter at Oris House of Architecture, on view from 9 to 16 May. Designed by Numen/ForUse, the exhibition introduces the collection through a spatial narrative that reflects the dialogue between the legacy of Vjenceslav Richter and its contemporay reinterpretation

Prostoria at Days of Oris

As part of Days of Oris, Prostoria continues its long-standing collaboration with the festival as sponsor of the Oris Award. This year, the award will be accompanied by a chair from the Richter Collection, contributed by Prostoria - placing the project at the centre of this year’s recognition.

On 9 May, at Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall, architect Maroje Mrduljaš will deliver a lecture on the work of Vjenceslav Richter and the Revisiting Richter project, offering insight into how modernist ideas are translated into contemporary design. Throughout the programme, the Richter Collection will be on display, occupying both the central stage and the hall, allowing visitors to experience the pieces in use within a living architectural setting.

A Dialogue Between Past and Present

In this context, Revisiting Richter becomes more than an exhibition. It acts as a dialogue between past and present, reconnecting Richter’s experimental vision with contemporary approaches to comfort, function, and everyday life.
