NOXX Hotel

The NOXX Hotel in Marburg, designed by Studio ABERJA, is a reinterpretation of a former locomotive shed into a contemporary hospitality experience. Echoes of the building’s industrial past are thoughtfully preserved and reimagined, creating a distinctive atmosphere that balances engineering heritage with refined comfort. Exposed steel columns, aged brick and custom-designed details - such as curved steel washbasins - anchor the narrative of transformation, while warm materials and a curated color palette soften the robust architecture.
Prostoria’s furniture collection enhances the hotel’s layered interiors with pieces that reflect the space’s duality - industrial edge and welcoming warmth. The Strain chair, featured in the dining areas and guest rooms, brings sculptural elegance through its intersecting steel legs and ergonomic design, aligning with the hotel’s structural language.
The Tinker easy chair, placed in both rooms and lobby spaces, introduces a soft visual rhythm, offering inviting, lightweight seating that complements the surrounding materials. In the lounge and bar area, the Layout modular sofa anchors the communal space with bold simplicity and flexible comfort, supporting both private moments and social interaction.
NOXX Hotel stands as a testament to narrative-driven design, where architecture, interior detail, and carefully selected furniture - like Prostoria’s Strain, Tinker, and Layout - work in alignment to offer a uniquely immersive guest experience.
